The latest gen of Marantz and Denon AVRs has this new Dialog Enhancer feature. Has anyone done some testing and can report whether it's better than the old "just turn the center louder"-method of older AVRs?
I'm living in an apartment and newer really turn up the volume of my 5.1 setup too much. I don't even really care for earth-shattering base when watching movies. I'm more interested in the immersion and sound stage. However, dialog comprehension can sometimes be an issues on lower volumes and I'm wondering if I might benefit from this Dialog Enhancer feature.
