Difference between Marantz Cinema 70s and predecessor NR1711?

I'm looking to upgrade my older Marantz NR1506 slim line receiver to either the Marantz NR1711 or the Cinema 70s. I've never had any issues with the power of the older slim line, but would like to upgrade to get eARC as well as support for the newer audio formats.

Are there any noticeable improvements when going from the NR1711 to the Cinema 70s. Besides the looks and the Dialog Enhancer feature?

If you meant sound quality, I would say expect no improvements, unless you need to use external amplifier. The NR1711 has pre outs for the front left and right channels only, if I remember correctly. For those slim line series, I would think the power amp section is the bottleneck, but it won't be a problem if it has enough "power" for your application.

Does the NR1711 have eARC? Not important to everyone but it's a must for me and only the SRx015 models seemed to have it before Cinema and the early ones were buggy...
