If few people noticed, I'm guessing that the number of people with 60 players is not huge. What few people noticed when upgrading from BluOS 3 to 4.x is the fundamentally new architecture of the OS, which now provides, among other things, 'Increased maximum group size to 60 players'.
From seeing previous MQA posts here, they'll need to overcome considerable skepticism of that brand. I currently own the Node N130 and owned the NAD M33, so I'm not a hater of the BluOS product line. I think Node I, II, II & IV would have been much less confusing than the half dozen different model names and numbers that Marshall struggled with. They're betting that they can sell it to more customers who don't know the history of MQA, than those who know it and are dubious of a hardware line that touts a previously failed MQA promise. If all these innovations are now combined, surround material from the new Lenbrook streaming service could soon be transmitted wirelessly to the BluOS devices in an unprecedentedly scalable form and quality. Currently, only a maximum of 4.2 surround is possible with BluOS.
Btw, there will also be headphones that support MQA Airia in the future.
