All About UFO's

Or they're so bright their AI actually works right.

Wow, makes Google Assistance voice command AI so plain now! Anyway, Google Assistance AI voice command is just so lame and Google should take Aliens as scientists. Gulp, it seems retrenchment is coming for present Google engineers. Heh, heh .....

On the subject of UFO crashes: I'm reminded of the work of the greatest unintentional humorist in the history of pseudoscience, Bruce Cathie, who posited that they crash because they fall off the "World Energy Grid", which determines where nuclear bombs actually explode, is somehow the source of energy for UFOs to fly, and through ancient knowledge, all of the ancient religious sites on the planet fall on locations determined by the grid.

Actually, it's a bit more complicated than that. You see, the aliens need to know about the Greenwich meridian to be able to fly on Earth. Except when they are over French territorial possessions in the southern Pacific, when the grid is suddenly worked out from the Paris meridian instead. There's also something about harmonics, which basically allows you to move the decimal point in a number and pretend it's exactly the same for some calculations. He solved the problem of the Unified Field Theory in one of his books by moving a decimal point two places to the right, if I remember the maths correctly.

Anyway, Bruce Cathie was a commercial airline pilot - so now you know why not to trust pilots when discussing UFOs.

Si we don't know whither the aliens even exist or not but we are already making the safe assumption that both they and their technology are infallible.

if the aliens are Vulcans they will probably raise an eyebrow at that sort of logic.

They are supposed to have physics defiling capabilities but manage to crash more spaceships than we humans do planes… well color sceptical!

We don't know that they even exist, how do we know how many crashes they've had?

Aircraft crashes are fairly frequent but in comparison to the number of flights made they only a tiny percentage end in a crash.

We also don't know how many flights the aliens are making. One a year then one crash every million years, a million a year then one crash a year. Etc.

If there are aliens and if they and their tech are not both infallible then logically crashes are possible. Therefore we cannot say they cannot crash.

So where do you think these aliens come from? Or should we be assuming that your "If" really overrides your other arguments?

"So where do you think these aliens come from? Or should we be assuming that your "If" really overrides your other arguments?"

Well, that's what they try to find out don't they? finally!
or we can just go back to pretend they are not there, and call everyone who ever reported on such is a) delusional, b) attention seekers or c) Liars.

One thing is for sure, these things (whatever they are!) fly around, and they obviously don't care whether someone here believes in them or not, also by pretending or not wanting to believe in them does not make them disappear any time soon or solve the problem.

In fact, with the rise of ever better camera's and other equipment more and more are spotted lately literally all over the globe.

And yes there are pranksters, and yes, there is fake out there, but there are and there were also a lot of mass sightings, were hundreds saw the same "thing" at the same time or within minutes from each other, the famous (very large) black triangles for instance, all those people lying? crazy? i don't think so, BTW those sightings are not limited to just the US.

We'll for the sake of argument, we do assume they exist of course.

Thanks for making my argument.

That's just wonky statistics...

Nobody said they can't. I just don't think that the amount of (alleged) crashes reported is very much unrealistic.

The conspiracy is vast!!!

But do the flat earthers also believe in the aliens? If so where do they think the aliens come from - another flat world, or somewhere on the same one?

It’s all SO confusing..,

THEY want you to think it's confusing. Wake up, sheeple!

If you think these people are just one monolithic block of morons, you're sorely mistaken. They are actually all kinds of idiots, morons, fools, halfwits, ignoramuses, and the like. They all have vastly differing ideas about how it "works", and regularly heavily debate their viewpoints. It's quite fascinating...
