Article below. Very nice measurements.

You are right, my bad.

If I am right this time, P = V^2 / R = 2.9 * 2.9 / 32 = 0,263W = 265 mW in 32 ohms. Now it makes more sense.

The formula is right but I think you can't apply this all time because it rather describes an ideal scenario

The release video has measurements (around 4:00 to 9:30)

Should obviously not be blindly trusted since the measurements are by the company itself, but the numbers look nice. At 180$ this is not something I personally would consider buying though.

Got mine today. Too soon to give much feedback but a word of warning for anyone buying to use as I planned...

I use UAPP on Android . Since Android 12 (this is on Pixel but think any A12 build applies) you havent been able to control USB hardware volume with the screen locked with the volume buttons on the phone(it shows the slider moving but no impact- its changing the Android system volume which UAPP of course bypasses).

So I thought the volume controls on the MR2 would be able to work independently of this. It doesnt- using the volume switched on the MR2 with the phone locked has no effect- same as using the volume rocker on the side of the phone- so that idea is a bust!

Other than that- works fine but the ludicrous decision to start in high gain each time you plug in is bonkers - it should either default to last setting OR (and i believe it would be better if it was) low gain- if anyone from Moondrop is reading- hopefully first firmware update can fix this? Its pretty dangerous if you use sensitive IEMs. @JohnYang1997 you have some Moondrop contacts? Give them a nudge please.

I also disliked the idea of not having independent hardware volume. TempoTec Sonata E44 is perfect in this part.

Just trying this on my S22 Ultra and volume control of my E1DA 9038S3 with phone volume buttons works fine in UAPP when phone is locked.

Have you got a Pixel 6 Pro? Is this another example of the disaster that is USB DAC support on that phone?
