Why has Audio (and maybe all hobbies) become so hostile?

Interesting what beliefs will look like in the future when baby making and child rearing are no longer left to random people but completely state managed from factories/laboratories to nurseries according to best practices for whatever future societies need.

Have you ever seen Logan's Run? Great movie about the "State" running society and people go to rise up into the air to their glorious end at age ~34 which is actually some energy field vaporising them.

Haha. Might have missed that one. But In Time starring Justin Timberlake is pretty good too. And also the classic Gattacca. Most of my thoughts have been covered by real philosophers and sociologists anyway. Pretty sure they're nothing new. Dystopian or utopian is mostly subjective and humans have shown they can adapt to any system.
