What budget speakers you like to see reviewed?

I guess i was also looking at the JBL 306P MKII, the Kali LP-6, the Adam T5V or the KRK ROKIT 5 Gen 4 from the Review Index.
Are there more Studio Monitors up to 6,5" that have good measurements but that i am overlooking?
Does ErinsAudioCorner or other reviewers with a Klippel also have a "Tierlist" or Ranking Table of their speakers?
Atm i am really just looking for speakers that are up to 200 € per i guess and have a balanced connection.
I don't want to go full ham on a Preamp and/or DAC just yet and i kinda dislike the idea of introducing noise to an unbalanced speaker connection as i had this with my last cheap PC speakers from Logitech.
Thanks if anyone responds and can help me out even more. :)

Not really the thread for this, but what I'll say is don't worry too much about the size of the driver imo, if the measurements show that something smaller goes lower, then it will go lower. I'd think the T5V would be a good choice as long as you can EQ out the weird shelf in the upper treble, because the rest of the measurements from directivity to THD is a step above the other options you mentioned, as far as I can tell at least.

Would love to see a review of the new Presonus Eris Pro 6's. Hopefully they measure better than the Eris 3.5's that Erin reviewed, as a coaxial with a flat frequency response at that price point would be perfect.

The kind of Coaxial config on those aren't really ideal though, the tweeter is mounted infront of the woofer for example+possible unwanted interaction between the woofer and the tweeter waveguide. It also is trying to do the full range with just a coaxial, so I'd expect it to suffer in terms of IMD. Honestly, not super great of a design considering these are 400 bucks each and the IN8 V2s cost essentially the same with a much better thought out layout just for the drivers alone. Along with the fact that Presonus doesn't have that great of a track record so far in terms of measurements, I'm not hopeful.

Definitely reasonable. I'd think that since they're somewhat horn loaded that the IMD would be less severe, but the tweeter & woofer issue could definitely cause some ripples from 500hz & up and maybe spoil the "perfect" coaxial directivity from lack of being a true point source.

For me, at the end of the day, there's already the IN8's for a similar price, which is why I'm not really sure if these are even worth to purchase and measure, because it already seems much more flawed just from a short look. Although, if anyone still wants to buy a pair and send it over to amir, that wouldn't be an issue at all haha

The ELAC BS-41. AFAIK only available from Amazon. In one interview, Andrew Jones was positively giddy talking about this speaker. Currently $153/pr, the price has varied from $68 to a list price of $180.

I’m extremely interested in seeing a review on the Vanatoo Transparent One Encore +, released last month.
Right now I’m experiencing analysis paralysis on what speakers to get…passive, active…and considering I’d be upgrading from $100 Klipsch 2.1 multimedia speakers…nearly anything will be a dramatic upgrade.

Monolith by Monoprice MTM-100

Currently on sale for US$229

For me the dizygotic twin from Thomann's brand Swissonic looks more promising. It has two amplifiers per speaker with 60% more power and DSP crossover. On the other hand the MTM-100 has digital & usb input but a passive crossover.

Maybe @KLang1 like to publish some measurements on the T204?

I didn't work on this speaker, sorry.

Mission QX2 MK2 bookshelves review please. Some claim they're better than KEF Q350 and Wharfedale Evo speakers, so I'm curious to know if they live up to the hype.

Cerwin-Vega, excuse me, Cerwin-Vega! LA14 or LA165.

I'll have the LA14 later today to see if I prefer them to the Sony sscs5 in my office setup.

The Cerwin-Vega LA14 seems really impressive. Have it paired with a SMSL DA-1/SU1 combo. Subjectively I'm finding it a super fun listen. Kids have it so good these days.
