Swissonic A305

Does this woofer look normal? I purchased a pair of A305's which got delivered today, one unit, labelled left had some white/dusty substance all over the surround (wiped most of it off) but no where else. The surround doesn't look glued properly either in one or two spots. The other unit is perfect all around as you can see here. It does sound fine, though.
I know that this is kinda older question but I had two batches of them, the "shining" one lacked bass A LOT. While the one with the weird dust sounded very nice. If you get like me one from 1 batch and second from 2 batch it's gonna be cacophony.

Also, does anyone measured what frequency range does treble switch affects? The + and - on the unit.

I didnt understand 80% of what you said, but my HD400 arrived and its working as intended (removed coil whine/ground loop). Theres still a little bit of hum, which wasnt there before, so its introducing some noise too. I have to touch the device for the hum to go away. Meh.
Hmm. What exactly does your setup look like? I have the sneaking suspicion that your source / DAC may be of the "laptop with 2-prong mains lead" type, which would put a substantial common-mode voltage on the transformer. Either way, I think establishing a ground connection for either the HD400 or something in your source ought to eliminate this.

my ground loop noise almost disappeared after I plugged in the whole ac plug into an ups :D

Edit: not true, disappeared only in some circumstances (Bluetooth dac), when the usb connector of the dac is connected to the pc, there is a lot of noise. I'll try with the behringer hum noise suppressor

Is the Noise like this? Can you measure it?
Blue - Ground Loop + USB Data Noise
Green - USB Data Noise

I'm using the A306 and a 35€ "DSD Tech SH-G01L" fixed all my issues. Hope this helps

I don't know how to measure it, but it's a problem of my pc tower, because with the usb attached to the laptop it's damn silent

Decibel X is a free software for the phone. Try sending a screenshot with USB connected and one without the noise.
If it's 1kHz and harmonics noise it's the USB-Data Bus, if it's 50/60Hz + Harmonics it's caused by the power grid if it's broadband it's likely a "normal" ground loop.

With the laptop or via BT you're not directly connected to another outlet so there shouldn't be a ground loop / noise.

This is likely the exact same Issue I've got - a ground loop between the Speakers power supply and the PC power supply. (so not a issue of only 1 device)
You can likely solve it with a galvanic USB Isolator like this one (https://www.amazon.com/DSD-TECH-SH-G01L-Isolator-Isolation/dp/B0CSYNSZ3K?th=1) or by finding a connection that doesn't create the loop. What if you connect your Speakers and the PC into the same outlet?

Got results with the "behringer hum noise suppressor"?

Ok I'll try soon with the software and let you know. I just installed the hd400 behringer and it works perfectly, all noises disappeared. I didn't believe it can remove all noises like this. I'll also measure the noise with this stuff attached
