Need Recommendations for a Small Amp for 3D Printed 3-Inch Subwoofer (4 Ohm, 15W RMS, 30W Peak)

Hello Guys,

I’m looking to experiment with a 3D-printed 3-inch subwoofer and need a small, suitable amplifier for it.
The subwoofer has a 4 Ohm impedance, with 15W RMS and 30W peak power. Tang Bang W3-1876S

I’ve already connected a pair of Swissonic A305 active monitors via RCA (Chinch) from my PC. Now, I’m wondering how I can integrate the subwoofer into the setup. Do you think it would make sense to build an active subwoofer and simply split the RCA signal, or is there a better solution for my situation?

I’m open to any recommendations, as I don’t know much about this topic yet.

Thanks in advance!

Take a look at Sure Electronics/Wondom.

A miniDSP 2x4HD would be ideal.

PS: Have you seen Hexibase on Youtube? :D

I’ll keep an eye on that.

And yeah, it would fit perfectly for me. I don’t really need a sub in my setup here, but I'm having fun learning new things and finding a use for the tons of filament I have lying around.
