Revel F35 Speaker Review

I am pretty stoked that these followed me home today. I got a great deal from a local enthusiast, who had them priced to sell.
Super happy for you, you'll love them for years to come. ;)

Apologies if this has been brought up already, but how does it compare to F36? Anyone have info or experience?

Only have experience with the F35s and find them delightful. PIR for F36 looks better on paper, though I prefer the tilt of the F35. So...??? I am not helping - am I?

I bought a pair of F36 based on Amir's F35 review, because of the slight low-end extension and I wanted more air moving. I couldn't do a comparison because nobody around here had Revel speakers in a showroom (we're just a little backwater of 7.7 million people here in the SF bay area).

Mine are in a 2-channel system for music and video in a 13 x 19 foot living room. I like them. FWIW, I'm a professional musician with some recording engineering experience, and I have good ears. YMMV, of course.

My $0.002 worth.

How's the level of detail? I have experience with for instance Arendal 1961 tower but found them lacking on this part. Still very positively reviewed by Erin's audio corner... Reviews seldom are good on this part

They still make money on them! Too much inventory, so clearing the warehouse.
Since the end of the COVID sales boom the US economy has fallin thru the floor.
No one can afford this stuff and buy grocerys too.

I wonder if I could paint it black???

or camo......I'd have something unique that would blend in to my decor a little more than white.

I feel like an idiot...I ended up ordering 2 of these F35 speakers in WHITE a few moments ago ($880 in savings over black though :D). Maybe if I keep the lights really low my wife won't notice them in place of my brown woodgrain JBL bookshelves on black stands . She's out of town until Thursday night and the speakers are a free overnight delivery to my house from Crutchfield. She doesn't have a clue. I may have caused some problems, oh well music usually cheers me up!

Received my F35 speakers today, began unboxing, inspecting, etc. Then during testing my college daughter came out of her room and asked me to turn it down, please! First time that's EVER happened :), payback can be a (you fill it in). They sound really good* and somewhat louder* and better bass than my Stage A130s ;). I am really eager for my Fosi Mono Block V3 amps to arrive from the kick starter campaign! Then I'll give her something to really listen to during testing.

*I am referring to the ASR standard calibrated 'good' and 'louder' definitions in this description. All the really good descriptions are being used by other forums .

My solution: Not to have kids solve the problem of loudness! but maybe that's like 18 years too late for you?

Try 30 years from the start of the whole thing....but it has been worth (almost) every minute! :D

I also pulled the trigger on white F35s from Crutchfields for $400 each. They arrived today and I just finished my initial listening session with a brief A/B with a pair of Monitor Audio RS6 Silver towers. The F35s are really nice. They have a very different sound profile to the SR6s but I would say initially neither speaker was so much better that one was clearly better. Of course, it was sighted testing and currently I am preferring the F35s. Let the listening begin!
