I found out that they also paved some of the upper dirt road, to the top.
I always tried to watch the PikesPeak International Hill Climb race-to-the-top (when available), then the VW (was it Sebastian Loeb?) EV shattered the records to the smithereens and made the event boring.
I wasn't aware that they are now racing 'flying' cars...
The box i keep a few valuables in got a bit crammed, bought a new one from Etsy for 85€. Apparently make in Turkey, real nice. Not heirloom quality, but more space and not offensive to the eye.

I need to add two or three layers to get more stuff into it. Maybe a documents pouch in the top. Maybe some red velvet.

You just can't have enough boxes in life! I have a box for every occasion and I also admit to having OCD for boxes-within-boxes.
The top - brass - box does not look to be a "signature" Turkish design.
The bottom - wood (<rubberwood?) - box looks more as an import from a Bay-of-Bengal country (<India/Pakistan?).
