The cedar is believed to be the oldest multi stem specimen in Europe and is one of 70 ancient trees dedicated to the late Queen to mark her Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
"LES SAINTES" (French Island)
a small island - a paradise - not too far from Florida. To get there you take a plane from Miami to Guadeloupe Island then you take a Ferry boat
( 2 ways : 14€ ) from "Trois Rivières" (three rivers) to Guadeloupe to "Les Saintes".
I've been there many times when I was living in Guadeloupe Island... There are many US planes going to Guadeloupe from Miami. The total flight duration from Miami, FL to Guadeloupe is 3 hours, 14 minutes

Having had living-experiences where sun rises-over-water (EastCoast), and where it sets-over-water (WestCoast); I prefer the latter.
I was a rugrat and too young to appreciate such things but for me "having your cake and eating it" would be island-living with both sunsets and sunrises, every day.
OK -- yours are better
In all seriousness, your photos are gorgeous images.
I do remember nice sunsets in CA from our time living in the Silicon Valley (even with no view of the Pacific, nor even of the SF Bay).
We get better sunsets here in NH, too -- at least at our house.
Sodium vapor lights were all the rage when we lived in Milpitas. The night sky glowed yellow over the populous areas.
We're not dark sky, but one doesn't have to go far north, east, or west to find it. Not "out west" dark skies, but respectable.
We do get good nights, though.
I don't have an equatorial mount with a clock drive, unfortunately, but I still have fun.
Seeing as we’re doing sunsets, here’s a few from bike rides in my area of Galloway, S-W Scotland
Spot the plane, I zoomed in with lumix
2500ft up in the Galloway hills, very enjoyable bivvy night with a flask of whisky for company
Sunset Dog - Anjuna beach, Goa. We found her lying on the road from Anjuna to Mapusa, been hit by a car so we took her to a vet and paid to sort her out which took a few weeks and she became our adopted dog for our 6 month stay, we made sure she was very well looked after by the owner of one of the beach restaurants when we left, she lived for another 6 years.
From the book Yesterday's New Hampshire by Richard F. Leavitt (Seemann Publishing, 1974).
The sign happened to grace my late in-law's driveway, which was off of Columbus Jordan Road -- but not Columbus Jordan Road.
(my own photo of same, taken ca. 1982)
We now live less than 2 miles from that driveway "as the crow flies".
Cleveland, Ohio,
In the 1970s college days, Cleveland was considered as the R&R capital of live rock concerts. Even according to many of the era, rock-n-rollers!
Been there, after 1983 build of this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (RRHOF):
Simply glorious.
NOTE: The backdrop is Lake Erie waterfront.
