I used „ignore“ a long time ago but you still see that spam is coming in, but at least not the content.Does this site have a mute feature or must I continue to see Eddie Vedder perseverate selfishly about speakers that he'll never buy?
Seems like minimum distance is quite low despite being quite large.
Not to my knowledge, I was just judging by the pictures above, assuming the speakers are placed at recommended distances. Was minimum distance provided by Neumann at some point? I don't see anything new on their site
For full spectrum reproduction, is the 3 way kh310 suffice to without a subwoofer then.I have to disagree again with your above generalisation (like in a dozen of previous threads).
A modern hightech 6,5" driver like for example the Purify can post many 8" to shame in terms of max SPL and low distortion.
8" is usually not an optimal choice for a 2" way with a non horn tweeter as the crossover frequency gets too close to the breakup modes of the woofer.
For full spectrum high quality reproduction one or more subwoofers are a must, even with bigger woofer loudspeakers.
Of course there can be some few individual cases where someone decides that the 8" loudspeaker is just enough bass/SPL for him and a 6,5" would be just below, but generalising that one needs a sub and the other not is not expedient, even more when we haven't got the distortion measurements from the KH 150 yet.
The break up modes of the woofer have nothing to do with the crossover being analogue, on the other hand with an active or even further FIR filter you can implement more steep slopes. For full spectrum reproduction, is the 3 way kh310 suffice to without a subwoofer then.
will there be any breakup considering mods have dedicated driver.
or is it a case of the older analogue crossovers not being as good as they can be with the given drivers used.
MA1 - yesDoes the room correction (both with the iPad app and ma1 microphone software tuning) work with dual stereo kh750 subwoofers.
it maybe worthwhile to spend money on kh120 and dual kh750 instead of kh150 with a single kh750.
assuming the kh120 woofer can handle all of the midrange frequencies sufficiently.
Price went already for KH120what are the chances they discontinue the kh120.
Or maybe a price increase regardless of kh120 mk2 Release.
The KH120 is 11 years old, and there are already hints towards a KH120II, although not confirmed. So, personally i'd expect a new version won't take too long. But, because the KH750 already acts as a DSP for the KH120 and adds specially designed filters for the KH120, i don't expect a KH120II + 750 to be much better than 120 + 750.what are the chances they discontinue the kh120.
Or maybe a price increase regardless of kh120 mk2 Release.
And cleaner sound due to digital crossoverPossibly lower distortion.
