The first image that comes to my mind about active monitors in my living room is seeing my grandkids poking the exposed drivers of a Genelec 8361A LOL

I think Neumann got it right putting metal grills on the KH120, KH150 and KH80 drivers to make them childproof which is a smart move for sure.

BTW, also ordered the MA1 mic. I won’t be able to integrate my Rythmik Audio E22 with the KH 150s automatically but at least I can get the KH 150s well aligned and then use REW to time align the E22.

The KH 150 speaker is fairly nondescript, but the glowing logo is very cool.

I consider it my weakness (it extends in everything) but it's one of the weaknesses I love and respect.
Life's too short for ugly things.
(not talking about these speakers specifically!)

Neumann, Dynaudio and Genelec speakers are on the cool side of good looking active speakers. Now, I wouldn’t put an ATC in my living room not even if I get them for free.

Neumann and Genelec both look very sleek and pleasing to the eye imo. If I was ever going to use these speakers in my home entertainment system my wife wouldn't mind BUT I am sure if I showed her Neumann/Genelec or KEF she'd probably pick KEF all day from a looks perspective

I wouldn't mind a pair of nice grey mat blades in my living room.
As I wouldn't mind a pair of Kyron's audio gaia in my dedicated.
But not the other way around.

Anyone heard them side by side with KH120
Which were dark sounding to me...
Question is do all Neumann monitors have the same "house sound" as all Genelecs do
Or are they different?

I can say that KH 120 and KH 310 sound quite the same unless it gets really loud. Don't know about their other models.
