Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

They really stop speakers from moving around if someone gives them a gentle nudge, I like that.
I'm interested in stopping direct vibrations from reaching the floor. Or at least reducing.

Some time ago, serious manufacturers used to add sand to the bottom of speaker cabinets. If the speakers are well-designed, they shouldn’t need spikes. Spikes usually transmit concentrated vibrations directly to the floor.

Hope it’s a prototype!
I think the guy was too cheap to buy glue and he stole the screws from work.

Second, I don't think he could make up his mind on what he was doing. :-)

Man Alive.

I don't know I'm kinda liking it
It adds to the looks
Maybe they should have used a different color of screws, not sure.

If they are not very wide then the feet can give more stability. But the spikes are useless, I'd replace them with sonic design damping feet adjusted to the weight class.
Usually both options are included (spikes and rubber feet).

From what I think to remember these extension legs on many slim floorstanders became popular due to some newer regulation about tipping over safety of furniture etc.

Dial it back a bit please. If you're going to be harsh , at least explain why what was said was wrong . Thanks
OK.
Here is the wrong assertion again:

I suppose the large drivers need a good depth at the back, the shallow depth doesn't have enough time to get the back wave out.

Bass-reflex box is working on the Helmholtz Resonance principle - where the depth of the box is irrelevant! This is basic stuff!
In the formula of the Helmholtz resonance there is no depth of the box, only the volume of the box and dimensions of the port:

I really like the look of these Lockwoods, but the price seems exorbitant, and I have my suspicions regarding the sound quality...

I wouldn’t want to argue with you about "this basic stuff," especially when it comes to resonance, the placement of openings on speaker cabinets, and, most importantly, what Wikipedia states—since anyone can write there. Remember, this is a fun thread and this forum is for happy people. :)
