Don't know if anyone's interested? Had a really nice day visiting Moondrop's head office as a user several months ago. Received warm welcome and heard about some very cool products still in development. Can't take any pictures in work area ,but it is allowed in their listening room;)

Don't know how much precise are these measures but sure they seem interesting

Definitely more body and warmth than orginal chu, a tad more open than Hola, I think that they can please many.

Add the detachable cable, replaceable fiters and nice pouch, yes, they can be a new winner.

It seems it's "2" season at Moondrop home

Starfield 2

New domes meterial, replaceable filters and tunable bass port seems the biggest news on the show.

Starfield 2 without bass boost should sound somewhat bass light, and the boost is a lot.

That raises a few questions:
1. Why?
1.a. STAX SR009's FR does not look too bad actually.
2. If it is possible to sample sound style of an e-stat with a tiny in-ear, surely EQ can do that at zero cost a pair, and EQ has no potential ergonomic issues.
3. Why?
4. Is this the near future, e-stat are the new marketing tool to sell us more headphones we don't need?

That photo above, that looks hideous indeed but there are better photos of the IEM.

Just a bit of a warning for any Moondrop Jiu users. I have been an idiot and not followed proper safety protocols and nearly got blasted for it.

I use the Jiu into an Android phone using UAPP as the player controlling the Jiu DAC. Hardware volume was reduced by around 20 db in UAPP so all SHOULD have been fine but it appears that the first split second of playback is at or around full signal before the volume adjustment kicks in.

So yes, definitely dont start playback with the Jiu in your ears folks. Obviously should apply to any headphone/ earphone listening for good practice.

It may just be a bug/ compatibility glitch with UAPP rather than a Jiu specific fault but a little disconcerting. Not had that happen with any dongle dacs connected to UAPP before.
