"Micro Bamboo Project" : 3E Audio 260-2-29A Stereo amplifier + Micro-Audio PSU

For those who would like to read the complete test of the 3E Audio Rev B Module, it's here:

Is anybody from Europe interested in buying the parts to build this amp (3e Module Rev2 + Micro-Audio SMPS + Case and Cables) from me?

Unfortunately I will not have time for the build and prefer to buy a prebuild amp.

If you're technically stuck, I'm in France. I can help you. )

I can see you are disappointed of the RCA modification needed, but with a little extra budget you can get a DAC with balanced out, maybe that can help.
I am not sure what is the cheapest Topping, SMSL DAC with balanced out, I have E50 for ex.

Thanks, but I just bought a used NC252MP-based Amp for less than what I paid for all the parts for your build (the MicroAudio SMPS was quite expensive).

I will try to sell the parts here in the forum section.

Ok ) enjoy your amp anyway )
I built several NC252mp and NC500mp hypex amps but they are noiser than the 3E Audio.

Sure. But coming from a noisy Marantz 2238B there will already be a huge difference with the NC252MP. I guess I could not hear the difference between the Ncore and the TPA3255.

SMPS600-R2 measurements with the 3E audio amplifier.

A quick measurement yet.

More measurements will show up later, please request what you would like to test.

Thanks

And at 4 Ohms.

This amplifier is so good

Enjoy

Pretty good )
The Yongzhuxing 600W PFC /LLC PSU @50€ narrowly beats the SMPS600-R2 )

Exactly, it beats the SMPS600-R2 in terms of the price point, not in terms of sound quality.

Sound quality ? --((
Sinad highlights the transparency of an amp and not the quality of the sound which is a purely subjective parameter. ASR is a site which provides rational measurements and in this case the measurements show that there is no difference between these 2 PSUs apart from the price.... Prove to me that the sound quality is better with an experimental protocol and we can debate afterwards)

I have just found random posts here.

Now if you don't believe them it's difficult to convince you afterwards.

Hey! Just wanted to chime in here!
The measured amp above was my first 3e build I did for my bud.
I used a decent but cheap 48v 8a psu, I had laying around here. @daniboun will remember the model. I found it a few years ago on Ali and used it for an Aiyima.
Above I used that Qualtek emi filter cause I saw that Jeff Rowland used it in his $6000 class d 535.

I then did a 4channel 3e and used the Micro Audio SMPS1KS 1200w to power both 3e boards. I also added extra Mundorf caps (40000uf total). They drive the Mids and highs of my tri amped 3ways. I was blown away by the quality of the board, the improved sound quality of the 3e boards and how great working with Sami was.

I told my bud who I had built the above amp for that he should upgrade the psu to one of Sami’s. He did.
Super cool to see my first amp build ever measuring so well. Granted I just listened to dudes here and played adult legos, so
all the credit to @3eaudio and @MicroAudio
for the amazing devices. Glad my lego skills didn’t f them up . This are better than any Purifi and Hypex I’ve heard.
Amplification for 225w and under is solved with these 2 companies imho.
@3eaudio we now need 700wx2 1500wx1 please. Sami has the power
