High End Munich is turning High End Vienna

WOW, this is huge news. I wonder how this will impact attendance. Vienna is a bit out of the way compared to Munich. However, Vienna is a stunning city, so maybe this will attract a new type of attendee.

I am thinking of visiting Munich High End this May.

I saw that the exhibition will be open to visitors only during the last two days.
As I don't have experience from such shows, I wanted to ask if you think visiting only one day is sufficient.
I understand that it depends on how many systems you want to listen and for how long.
But in general, a single day visit can be kind of stressful, meaning you will just be able to do just walk through the building and do a quick pass from each stand?

Any other tip or suggestion will be appreciated.

For the systems gathered there even a week would not be enough if you want to "listen" to all of them.
And I say "listen" cause for the popular ones is nearly impossible to do under proper conditions.

Such shows are fun to visit with friends, maybe have a listen to the dynamic nature of some systems (which makes all the difference) ,etc.
Don't except to see to hear the virtues of a system in a nice treated room while you sit at the sweet spot.

But I say it again, it's fun. Knowing what you want to listen in prior helps, or else you can end-up wondering in there at no benefit.

Depends. If you stop at each headphone stand for a demo, one day will be short.
Make a selection of what you really want to see/demo/listen to.

I´ve always been there the last years for only one day. BUT that is not enough - you better make a roadmap which manufacturers you want to visit. Some presentations have to be booked at the same day in advance (time slots). Entering and "going with the flow" will, in the end, result in many missed opportunities. I would suggest you to go there for two days, especially when you have to travel from further away.

And another, be aware of cheapos who try to steal stuff like small gear, visitors, etc.
(for the smart ones, no, I don't mean the official sellers :p )
They tend to grow each year, secure your stuff and don't leave wallets, etc around.
