Seems like a very quick drop off in the low end, especially given the large drivers and cabinet space.

They don't do what the Polk r700s do on those low hits in Sara K Water Falls. Close but not as good.

Another crossover rebuild ahead.

The I-core coils used by Heco are quite good. If you want to replace the I-core coils, I would recommend I-core coils from Intertechnik or Tritec air coils.
BUT please note that the I-core coils in the signal path with their internal resistance influence the volume of the respective loudspeaker branch.

One amazon reviewer apparently compared both, and concluded the Hecos were better in every way.
Not disputing your view, just adding another pov. I'm intrigued, can be picked up for £1k on the UK at the moment.
Been looking at wharfedale evo range thus far, but nothing serious.
