8260 Genelec monitors for Left and Right channels. If a stereo "purist" wants to listen they can still hear impressive bass with their 10" woofers, and the sub integrates so well it's hard for people to realize it's on since it doesn't sound like a separate system. Got it used for about half the price of new.
8351B Genelec monitor for the center channel, got it a few weeks ago on a demo deal. This is replacing a Kali IN-8 V2 that was previously being used as a center channel. Hard to tilt the Kali without the Isopod, and the placement compensation isn't as good as the Genelec. While it did sound good most of the time, if I leaned back a bit it seemed like there was more of a floor bounce causing a null making things sound a little off.
7271 Genelec woofer with dual 12" drivers for the LFE and bass management, corner loaded to give it an easier time and plenty of overhead. Picked it up used for half off.
IN-5 Kali monitors for left and right surround, these are working well though I'm looking at replacing them with Genelec monitors to take care of the volume controls and to make them a bit more accurate as they are right up against the wall to save room in my living room.
IN-8 Kali monitor for the center surround, (6.1 system currently) that plays the audio from the rear surround channels. Didn't think it would make much of a difference, but having something right behind you definitely adds another dimension to things.
8331 Genelec monitor is arriving today, also a demo deal, going to replace the rear IN-8 surround, at which point I'll move the IN-8 and another to replace the IN-5 monitors, and use the IN-5 monitors at my standing desk upstairs until I can afford a pair of 3-way Phantoms.
DP564 Dolby decoder is being used for the ability to simultaneously output both digital and analog signals for 7.1 which allows me to use the Genelec monitors digitally and the Kali's with analog outputs.
Source material is an Apple TV hooked up to a 77" OLED. Audio goes through an optical cable and I believe is only about 640kbps, which could be considered a weak point. Planning on a JBL SDP55 for the Dante output, or maybe the Arvus UDMA that can match the Dolby unit with outputs and doesn't seem as complicated/potentially wretched as the JBL unit. I wish there was a "Genelec" of surround sound processors, because relative to Genelec they all seem like busted nightmares.
