I can understand a single tool kit ... but a single xlr cable, or single op amp (or even 2 when 4 would be needed) for two monoblocks?

There is an option to select 'none' - but maybe someone near you might like them to try. I'm sure there will be plenty of debate as and when (maybe on the user forum)!

If that debate will not include measurements it will be a pointless one.
There's a gazillion other things one can spend time to make it's audio nicer.

Measurements would be good. But no harm in those who don't want them to offload them.

Yes I lost money on a record cleaner project called VinylSonic. They never produced a product but collected over 600,000 dollars

I put in the gift notes that i would rather have more cables instead of the tools and opamp. We will see if they end up doing that. I ordered 3 monos so even 2 opamps is still pointless

I filled in the mandatory field at the bottom with a question of where they’re shipping FROM. Although I’m assuming it’s China, it doesn’t hurt to know for sure. It’s not an issue if where it’s made so much as guesstimating how long it may take to travel.

I am hoping (from the continent of Europe) that it is going first to a warehouse (in the EU), and then on, with no tax demands on delivery. Someone on another post for another Fosi Kickstarter said that their V3 (I think it was) arrived quite swiftly, and without tax - I'm assuming it was pre-paid as happens on AliExpress for example, from wherever it is sent.

We shall see because, we will get tracking on dispatch I understand.

Yes, I am also hoping that they are moving the goods to regional distribution centers prior to 6/15, and then shipping domestically on 6/15. Much quicker coming from even California to me than from China.

Think the none was for t shirt measurement if not early enough to get that deal.

1. When you test monoblocks do you test only one channel or both driven simultaneously?

There is only one channel in a monoblock, as you may have realised.

I could have swore I saw them answer one of the comments on Kickstarter, stating that everyone will receive one of their chosen cables per monoblock in their order.
So two V3 mono amps would come with two cables of your choice, etc;

I'm now second-guessing that, as the gift options on the survey seemed to say "XLR cables*1" which I assume translates to "XLR cables x 1"

Still clinging onto hope though, as the option did say cables...not cable.

I can't claim to be a huge op-amp rolling enthusiast but now we're getting a pair I was going to give it a try to suck and see. If I'm swapping one pair anyway, swapping two pairs isn't going to be much of an added inconvenience. I'm in the UK and would feel bad not throwing at least some beer money your way if you sent them.

I can't claim to be a huge op-amp rolling enthusiast but now we're getting a pair I was going to give it a try to suck and see. If I'm swapping one pair anyway, swapping two pairs isn't going to be much of an added inconvenience. To the best of my recollection, they said one pair of cables per order, not one per amp. I'm guessing most people have got two amps coming so that amounts to the same thing for them.
