Fosi it will be available in the regular distribution channels in JulyHow do I just buy it normally without the kickstarter stuff
And if I buy it through kickstarter now when would I get itFosi it will be available in the regular distribution channels in July
Ship date of 6/15. Not sure if from China or domestically, so can’t guesstimate when they will actually arrive. And if I buy it through kickstarter now when would I get it
I'm new to kickstarter - what does this mean? I can pay and not get it?June
In theory, this is how Kickstarter works, it is a fundraising platform to carry out projects. Obviously there are projects and projects. No risk with a company like Fosi.I'm new to kickstarter - what does this mean? I can pay and not get it?

ok, but when I go to checkout - there is literally no space for shipping address. In theory, this is how Kickstarter works, it is a fundraising platform to carry out projects. Obviously there are projects and projects. No risk with a company like Fosi.
They collect info at fulfillment.ok, but when I go to checkout - there is literally no space for shipping address.

What does that mean - they'll email me when it's ready to ship and ask where to ship? They collect info at fulfillment.
Yes.What does that mean - they'll email me when it's ready to ship and ask where to ship?
I agree with your observations and sentiments.Untethered speculation is my superpower.
In a May 17 Kickstarter Update Fosi posted: "Help Shape the Sound of SP601" with the below graph attached.
Prototypes of the SP601 have been around for many months. I would think that if the speakers were shipping in June, the voicing would already have been decided. Certainly a delay to get this right makes sense.
Fosi's May 17 post reinforced my decision to postpone commitment. With no information on how the frequency graphs were measured, as well as the odd bass output, it would make it difficult for anyone to help them with voicing from a graph.
I believe Fosi has excellent in house amplifier engineers. Their attempt to crowdsouce frequency response with a graph makes me wonder if they have excellent speaker/acoustics engineers. I hope they will make an SP601 specific Kickstarter when the speakers are ready. Perhaps they could send prototypes to Amir or Erin for feedback before the final design is set.
Sorry I assumed I was looking at an anechoic chamber measurement. What are the normal possibilities?I agree with your observations and sentiments.
Their May 17 "Help Shape the Sound of SP601" Kickstarter post created more questions than answers. I do believe they'll get it right, but I agree, they should ship a set to folks with experience in this, like Amir or Erin, heck send a pair to Neil Blanchard for assistance and they'll have more speaker than they'll know what to do with![]()
Someone should send Amir a Dartzeel D5 Pro cloneThere are always the Dartzeel clones
Essentially, yes. What does that mean - they'll email me when it's ready to ship and ask where to ship?
The huge swings in bass response are not typical of 2-Way dynamic speakers measured in anechoic chambers.Sorry I assumed I was looking at an anechoic chamber measurement. What are the normal possibilities?
Yes, very nice, now show me some cloned preamplifiersThere are always the Dartzeel clones![]()
