I had some credit card points so picked up the upgraded version for less then $50 shipped. Really like the V3 but wanted to try one with tone controls and for the price couldn’t resist. Being delivered later this morning and will connect to a pair of EPI 50M speakers for a smaller setup for evening listening.

Auto is a great idea. My partsexpress Sub amp has Auto. When it detects an audio signal, it turns on. After X seconds of no audio, it goes back to standby.
Hi Gray, can you help check how many seconds is it? We're developing a model with a similar "auto" function.

Did anyone ever measure the 10D with a 48V PSU? If this amp is anything like the V3, I'm guessing if it can generate 200 watts @4 ohms with a 32V PSU, 300 watts + with 48V is conservatively possible?

It can't deliver 200W at 32 V

See the table in the post on page 4 here:

Note that the max ouput column is almost certainly at 10%THD, and almost certainly short duration. Basically ignore that column.

From Amir's review:
"We are talking essentially 200 watts coming out of this little box! Cost per watt is just 35 cents. Amazing."

Perhaps I'm mistaken in how I'm understanding this?

That is 200W combined (both channels added together) not 200W per channel (which is how we normally talk about power ratings of amplifiers). This is clearly shown in the chart you provided - 100.9W

Still would like to know what output the TB10d is capable of with a 48V/5a PSU. Probably safe to assume at least 150w?

Might not be more than 2x100 watt in 8 ohm 1% thd or 10% thd

Fosi audio v3 32 vs 48 volt psu

At 4 ohms, it outputs 100 watts with the 32v supply. More then the V3. Assuming it has a similar reaction to the 48V supply as the V3, the output should raise. The V3 increases 100 watts. I would think the TB10d therefore would increase 50-100 watts as well with the larger supply.

It turns on almost immediately upon receiving a signal, but doesn't turn off for a few minutes

Device "reviewed" by Cheapaudioman some months ago and he absolutely trashed it. Complained about noise and unit sounding bad. Different strokes, I guess but I am still curious to hear comments from users that actually listened to it Here is a link FYI:
How to know if your getting the new or old version ?
As i can see it the new version has a smotther front plate and a ring or what ever you would call it around the volume knob

It was the first version the Cheapaudioman complained about

It should be a better deal getting the fosi audio v3 if bluetooth and tone controls isn't important

It can be bought with the 48v power adapter, which can't be bought in a bundle with the tb10d instead of the 32v power adapter 10-15 euros more expensive (depeding on shipping) when you have to buy the amp with a 32v + the 48v power adapter

Why don't give us the option to but the TB10D with the 32 or 48v power adapter ?
