Thank you for your quick fix! It is just fine now.
Good eye. I changed the title to reflect that there are no iOS crossover software(s) known at this time. The thread title includes iOS but nothing has come to light so far?
The only other easy to use solution I found is EKIO. It has very nice GUI; straightforward routing and filter options; although I guess it has no FIR filter options.
Thank you for the details of the tool. It's about 3:30 am and I'm off to snooze so I will add the details and link to the webpage when I get busy in the morning. Thanks again.@Doodski,
For MacOS, another free tool from Apple should do the trick: AU Lab. It's part of the XCode additional tools and lets you route audio from one interface to another and add Audio Unit Effects. An older version can be found here.
For me though, I cannot get it to work. I get no output at all. Maybe others have more luck...
It may also be interesting to note some of the DAWs that let you do live mixing and filtering of audio streams.
OK... I added those to the list. Thank you very much. Much appreciated.I’ve had some success with 2ch black hole, AULab and the Gaffle frequency splitter https://klevgrand.com/products/gaffel. AULab can be buggy, I found I had to reconstruct my crossover setup as I was getting no output. I’m rebuilding my 8 channel amp at the moment but this evening I’ve checked I get output on each channel using a single amp.
OK> I added them and have a question. Is MATLAB Linux and Mac compatible? I looked at the webpage and did not see anything.Hi Doodski. Great list. Here are a few more.
For filter generation:
Focus Fidelity. This is new software and features are still being added. For now, no crossover generation. Windows and MacOS.
Multi-Sub Optimizer. Bass frequencies only. Can not be used for overall filter generation. Must be used in conjunction with REW. Windows only.
Audio Weaver. Very powerful, but also difficult to use. More of a development tool for engineers. Windows only. The penultimate tool for masochists, only beaten by:
Maths packages like Matlab or Octave. Requires manually entering equations, but anything can be done - as long as you know the equation. The ultimate tool for masochists.
For applying created filters:
Acourate Convolver. Can only be used with Acourate due to requirement of .CPV files that Acourate produces. Windows only.
Signalyst HQPlayer. Used by most to perform upsampling, but it can be used as a convolver. Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Note that CamillaDSP also runs on a Raspberry Pi.

I can only imagine how complex it is. I will add it to the full spectrum of the OS. Thank you!Yes, MATLAB runs on Linux and Mac. In fact MATLAB is pretty ancient software, I remember using it on Macs when I was an undergraduate in uni for statistical analysis. It was a miserable experience![]()
RFLMAO... Hahaha! Hehehe OK I'll change it... but then... sigh*Yumm.
It’s actually:
Raspberry Pi.
From elsewhere on the internet, the issue is that AU Lab doesn't ask for the microphone permission, and you have to do something to grant it manually. For MacOS, another free tool from Apple should do the trick: AU Lab.
