I am looking for speaker that don't have noise when idle. I found out many people report that active speaker like JBL 305, 306, Genelec 8030, even the expensive models have some sort of humming, buzzing sound. I prefer to have more bass. I am learning how to use eq properly.

It is so cheap yet perform well. One of it is passive, I could use it easily. Another is active, may be I could try to modify it into passive?
