Laser disk stuff will be worth a fortune in about 40 years. So much cool stuff that has gone by the way side. Laserdisk, DAT tapes, original cassette tapes, the never to be found again 8 track tapes, and more. We had a hectic 30 years of new stuff coming out and going away. At the time I thought is was stupid and a waste of money, but now I think of them with nostalgia and thinking how much cool stuff was available.

How does that guy handle all the litter box work? I had two cats and it was work, little guys love visiting the litter box all day and night. 25 cats and I'd have to hire minimum wage workers to do that thankless chore. My current cat is very, very sweet but he literally NUKES the box from the stink and doesn't cover at all. Leaves it on top of the litter like he wants me to see his proud deposit. He refuses to cover.

i've got 6 in the house, yes, it's work... i do "box duty" multiple times per day.. luckily the 9 outside tend to their own "boxes"

These things actually work. The savings in litter will pay for it eventually. I went from 3+ boxes of litter per week to less than one, and at ~$15 per box, it adds up.
I have three cats, and it almost is enough by itself, but I do use another (much cheaper) 'horizontal wheel' autobox, which is a waste of money, and will be replaced with a LR4 as soon as I can afford it.
Aside from the obvious, it also saves on back pain of litter pan cleaning.
Their customer support is fantastic, as well. Made here in the midwest, too.

That looks like me when the doctor says he wants to biopsy my prostrate and they ran out of painkiller. I survived but NEVER AGAIN. Pain meds or I walk.
I guess that's what you were after they did it. :p

Since we started to let our cat go outside it is rare to need to clean the litter box. He's a Maine coon, so when he used the box it was never light lifting :D

Disgusting creatures? Why so?
Yes why so? They poop in a box and cover it up. No tedious walks required. Modern kitty litter desiccates the waste and a slotted scoop makes it easy to remove. No picking up their poop outdoors in a baggie at -30 and carrying it home or trying to find a bin.
They are just as affectionate as dogs. They may not be very trainable but that is kind of endearing in itself. They greet me at the door when I get home. The make sure I get out of bed and am not late. They make sure
I get up to pee in the night when my sleep shows patterns of waking needing to do that. That will be helpful as I get old hahaha. They snuggle and keep me warm at night.
They run to meet guests when they arrive.
They groom and clean themselves and don’t need expensive groomers. They stay inside and stay clean.
And they are just aesthetically beautiful and graceful creatures.

Your cat's poop shouldn't stink much. If it does, the cat may be allergic to some of its food. One of our cats went through a horrible period of stinky poop until we figured out he was allergic to the vegetable oils in most canned wet food.
