Crash (1996) ... excellent mention ... sci-fi of the highest cinema caliber ...

I don't know how many people here have seen this film, but for the ones who did not this is a highly recommended cyborg sci-fi flick.
David Cronenberg is a cinematic force to be reckon with, a Canadian master filmmaker.

Like Ken Russell some of Cronenberg's films have been hard to get in the past. Naked Lunch is a fave. A short William S. Burroughs sci-fi break

Just a short film, but very emotional: FTL
This is from the You Tube channel DUST. For those who want to scratch their Sci-Fi itch, but are not in the mood to watch an entire film DUST has short films with high production value. Deep Clean is my fav:

I've seen all 10, the truth is these lists could go on forever. I saw by chance "Invisible Invaders" with John Agar last night on SIY's recommendation, it was amusing to see a species capable of interstellar travel with no weapons technology at all. Another alien invader defeated with noise right up my alley.
I think "The Brain from Planet Arous " was a better film.
