Behringer B2031A Measurement (broken sample?)

What does this entail?
Removing the front faceplate/tweeter, damping the large flat sides of the port tubes with something, or wedging a rubbery thing between the flat side and the cabinet wall.
If you tap the port tube at the front of the speaker, you can hear its resonance originally. That will be subdued if you damped it well.

This seems to be going nowhere, is nobody in the US able to send Amir a B2031A?

Likely nobody wants to throw money at another speaker…

Almost as important to see how Behringer handles warranty replacement as how well it measures. :)

Last word from Amir was they had taken his speaker and then gone dark. Always order from Amazon, then can return, is my advice.

That alone is a big no for consumer no matter how cheap it mightbe, you don't need to have such a dud unit, it says a lot about QC and consistency, having a less than stellar designed speaker is one thing, but it's better than having a speaker performs well when it's a golden unit, and then just the L and R channel is uneven, especially above schroder frequency where user can hardly use in room EQ to fix direct sound.

Nobody in US has a good unit they can ship to @amirm?
could be a tough job, if one bought a operational unit, which I believe would sound great especially for the price as it basically cloned a great design, who would like to pack it up, send it to amirm and wait for a few months before getting it back? ppl at this budget range usually don't have a spare system for enjoyment during the review process

IIRC correctly there was a speaker shoot-out in the US some years ago, where this speaker beat the Linkwitz dipole speaker. After the results were posted on diyaudio.com, a lot of people in the US would have bought them. Likely many have moved on to other speakers or only have them as backup speakers, so probably there is someone who can ship one out.

Anyone registered on diyaudio.com want to put the word out?

So there isn't any progress on the replacement unit? Or is it just stuck in the backlog que of other stuff to measure?

Is there any interest to give contributions specifically towards this speaker, hopefully a fully working unit to be measured again.
How much would it take for it to happen?

OUCH!
