I have a bit of an attachment to Concorde as I used to work for Rolls Royce Aero Engines in test measurement. We performed fuel ingestion testing after the accident in 2000. As the transient/dynamics recording van was rather close to the engine we were encased in concrete blocks just in case of catastrophic failure :)

I wouldn't install my turntable near one of those. She'd be ingested fast enough. Did you mean fuel injection?

That's a big ... condom.
No, fuel ingestion. IE - what happens if fuel is leaking out out the wing and into the front of the engine. We had to investigate one of the potential accident scenarios. Most airliners have the engines slung in front of the wing so its not a scenario that can happen to them.
