What’s your front end, if it is a turntable you will need it.

Too cool!I run a RPi + Allo digione hat running Picoreplayer/LMS feeding an RME adi-2 fs DAC, the RPi is built into a 1970’s Sony cassette deck, complete with 7” touch screen and working cassette ‘piano keys’ and VU meters.

My turntable isn’t in use at the moment, it’s a Heybrook TT2 circa 1982. :0)
I use them as surrounds and their size/appearance works for us.Yes the LS60 has a lot of boxes ticked, size / appearance maybe it’s Achilles heel.

I had some reservations at first too.
They are not taller than a standmount though and smaller to boot.
I get the impression they kind of disappear visually in white if they're standing in front of a whitish wall.
I should check them out myself, because I think they have the potential to be the successors to my current speakers.
Apparently, KEF LS60 speakers were designed to work as a stereo pair. What is the technical approach to use them as surrounds? Thanks for your time.I use them as surrounds and their size/appearance works for us.
? I connect the SR/SL signals to them but, since they would have to re-digitize any analog inputs, I feed them S/PDIF.Apparently, KEF LS60 speakers were designed to work as a stereo pair. What is the technical approach to use them as surrounds? Thanks for your time.
Got it. I thought each of the LS60 speakers were connected via CAT6 cable.? I connect the SR/SL signals to them but, since they would have to re-digitize any analog inputs, I feed them S/PDIF.
To be completely clear, the S/PDIF is conveyed by CAT6 as is everything (analog and digital) in my system. So, S/PDIF (via CAT6) to main LS60 and regular CAT6 from that one to the other.Got it. I thought each of the LS60 speakers were connected via CAT6 cable.
Crystal clear now. Thanks again. To be completely clear, the S/PDIF is conveyed by CAT6 as is everything (analog and digital) in my system. So, S/PDIF (via CAT6) to main LS60 and regular CAT6 from that one to the other.
I presume that if one lives where there is no phone signal (unless you are out on the deck & have the phone in a certain position) that these speakers (which seem like a great idea) are useless? To be completely clear, the S/PDIF is conveyed by CAT6 as is everything (analog and digital) in my system.
