A ship’s crew are drinking at a dockside tavern on the evening of their last night on land. The captain stands up, belches, and says to his first mate next to him, “Ahhh like my bars laahke I like maah wimin!” First mate replies, “how’s that cap?” The captain looks around, seeing his crew of seafaring men in every corner of the bar, and says, “As a great comfort, for we embark tomorrow, and I fear we may not all return.”
