I've seen this along with other Dave Rat videos. He's got some pretty interesting videos about his pro audio tech like his subwoofers. If I ever permanently wire a building I would consider using CATx cables rather than typical audio cable.

The results aren't much different from what I would expect, at least with just a voice signal. However, if I owned the Neumann or AKG mikes, I'd sure as hell would not want somebody talking and breathing (and who knows what else) right into the condenser heads! Call me fussy......
