I upgraded from the HD58X to the HD660S. They are more closely tuned to each other than any of the other HD5 and HD6 series headphones are to any other.

The center of the HD660S midbass boost is a little higher than HD58X and the treble is slightly different, with a little better resolution.

I'm wondering if any of you is familiar with SVS discount practice for separate markets.

SB 2000 current discounts
US $ 799 --> 499
EU € 799 --> 699

Could this mean that a deep European discount is still on its way, or is SVS not in the habit of syncing globally?

Why not just buy and try. Free returns. So easy.

Anthem is blowing out some of their last gen amplifiers (40% off). I've been told by my dealer that the new MCA series is just a restyle and they're basically the same. Check out https://www.anthemav.com/black-friday/ for pricing. Their 5 channel MCA50 which I've used for years is on sale for $1999 from $3599. I use it for my center and surrounds. Other amps at similar discounts.

My Macbook Pro M1 16/2TB order is arriving this coming week, so I've missed the Black Friday sale. We have until Jan 8th to return them as bought over the holidays - so I've got 5+ weeks for acceptance testing. IDK what delivery delays are now, but ordering sooner than later is best.

If you want to treat yourself, go ahead and get that awesome new 5nm 13" Air/Pro M1 Macintosh...or wait for the inevitable 16" M1. o_O
