Might be Gaudi as well!
Would definitely fit such spaces:

Most of the stuff posted here is so ugly you might think the high end market is dominated by middle-aged men with too much money and too little taste.

Oh wait...

FYI: I do find most of this butt-ugly, but I have zero evidence for my prejudice :)

Leonard Cohen said - 'we are ugly but we have the music'. We, audiophile could say 'even if our gear is ugly, we still have the music'.. ;)

I have also always liked the industrial look of an SAE stack:

Me not so much. The SAE "industrial" look was very busy and I find the numerous red LEDs and indicators to be relentless.

Not "industrial", rather maybe "lab instrument" as for ARC equipment is more to my taste. Though perhaps I slightly prefer the older look to the newest.

The AR Industrial look is exactly what turns me off.

I don't want my domestic hi-fi components to look "industrial" any more than I want my home's plumbing exposed.

Horses fer courses...

simple and functional and I like the color, the paddle switches on left are my absolute favorite ever.

Sorry everything here with the exception of designs by Dieter Rams is horrible and nauseating.
That may be a bit harsh, but I am generally surprised how many people like the crazy bling. I too love those original designs from Dieter Rams' studio. There were iconic "high end" designs like this pair from the 70s that influenced my decision to enroll in an industrial design program in college and begin a career in that field.

One of, if not the first, affordable FM tuners with digital station readout plus a analog dial, the Mitsubishi DA-F20
Switchable bandwidth for the best possible sound in both crowded and rural signal areas.
A real dynamite tuner, I shouldn't have sold it but it just sat there unused for years. :(
What a beauty she was,

I'm sure it sounds pretty good... perhaps great, but I just wouldn't want to spend a lot of time in that sound chamber.
Why ? It looks to be a pretty well designed listening space, not some anechoic monster.
