Sure, the volume levels are different depending on the streamer. This happens to me all the time switching between my FireTV, Roku, and direct streaming music to my AVR. If you aren't level matching it's easy to perceive a difference. That doesn't mean it's some sort of magic quality improvement. It means you have to adjust the volume.

Software updates may bring some new features but it can also break things

You can’t rollback. Contact WiiM and see if they’ll do it. I take it you’ve submitted tickets on your issues?

Yes I have submitted the problems on wiim pro forum.
That’s primarily a user community forum, and while WiiM do dip in from time to time, the best way of bringing an issue to their attention is by submitting a ticket thru the feedback section in the WiiM Home app - that way, they will also be able to inspect your device log and track the issue.
WiiM have just released this statement on their community group:
”As of today, WiiM Pro is Roon Ready certified. Now we are currently preparing the firmware and will be releasing the Roon Ready update to all WiiM Pro owners by 6/30. We'll make a formal announcement in all our channels when the firmware is released on 6/30. We really appreciate your patience throughout the certification process. “

How do you access it?
Go "Device" at the bottom of the initial app screen. On the WiiM Pro-D7B4 device tap the setup icon. Under the "sound" heading you'll see EQ.
