Replace miniDSP and WiiM Pro with WiiM Ultra?

This place is a bad influence. I recently bought the Kali LP-UNF speakers for my desk, highly based on what I saw here. I decided I wanted to add a subwoofer, so I bought an RSL Speedwoofer 10E. Well, now I needed a line-level crossover, so I bought a miniDSP 2x4 HD. Now I just bought a WiiM Pro to try to start phasing out my Google Chromecasts and speakers for whole home audio. I want at least one more WiiM device.

So, can I buy a WiiM Ultra and use it for my crossover and sell my miniDSP? I did buy the Umik-1 because I wanted to use REW to tune things in. I haven't even bothered to do that yet. It looks like the WiiM has parametric EQ like the miniDSP. So, am I losing much by simplifying my setup to a WiiM Ultra as opposed to the WiiM Pro and the miniDSP?

REW can not automatically generate biquads for any model of Wiim. So you will have to generate biquads for "Generic", accept the fact that those biquads may not work as intended on your Wiim, and manually input each biquad. Maybe support might be coming in the future. But from what I have seen, the DSP on the Wiim should keep most people happy.

I'm not a fan of Wiim room correction. I would consider upgrading the 2x4 to DiracLive. Keep the WiimPro.

I like Wiim room correction, kind of surprised it does not get more mentions as being good.

I "only" have a Pro but also own a Mini DSP umik-1 that just works (along with calibration) with the app seamlessly on my phone. Used to mess with REW all the time, which was in a way a big waste of time too.

The Wiim app firmware and app updates turned a Wiim Pro I purchased a few years ago into something that has auto eq and Room correction I didn't even know about until recently. And yes it sounds good... the PEQ curves make sense to me and identify room modes in about 2 minutes. What's not to like! I'll probably pick up another Pro since the price is good (maybe 2) for other systems. I don't get hung up on the quality of the DAC too much in the Pro - it's actually pretty good.

It is possible to set configurable PEQ in REW to make filters work as intended on WiiM - use RBJ Q (Half Gain) filters and limit quantity to 10 filters

Also here is an exampled of range and decimal fidelity:
0,1 hz for frequency
0,1 db for gain
0,01 for Q factor
