I currently use WiiM Pro in my primary system, and I have several Chromecast devices around the home. I overwhelmingly use Roon for playing Qobuz, TIDAL and local music files, with WiiM Pro through RAAT for my primary system, or with Chromecast for secondary systems and groups. My legacy sources are connected to WiiM: CD through optical; turntable and tuner through "Tape Out" from my Adcom GFP-555. I mostly use WiiM's vTuner UI for radio. Eventually I intend to use an Ultra in my primary system in order to use HDMI ARC for my TV.

I'm considering moving to a condo that has an audio closet connected to whole house in-ceiling speakers of unknown quality. See picture below. I'm unfamiliar with Sonos but it doesn't seem like the existing streamers can be smoothly integrated with my WiiM, Chromecast and legacy devices.

Does it make sense to replace the Sonos streamers with WiiM Pros? I also have four Chromecast Audio pucks that might work. Or are there advantages to keeping and possibly expanding a Sonos system?

I have multiple Wiims and multiple speakers connected directly, via Airplay and via Sonos.

I use Roon and Apple Music.

I haven't noticed any issues with my Sonos directed speakers compared to my Airplay ones or direct ones.

Roon's memory driven flakiness is the weak link with all of them.

They are Sonos Amp's not just streamers, so i suppose you would want to replace them with Wiim Amps rather than Pro's. Quite a lot of kit to be left with - at least £2500 worth in the UK if you were buying second hand.
I'd probably stick with the Sonos, move one to your main system, then pick up a couple of second hand Sonos Ones as rear speakers. Wireless rear speakers are coming to the Wiim Ultra in the future, but not sure how soon.
