All that's been said is "one of the industry's top amplifier chips"Looks like a price of about 450 dollars, is this a tpa 3255 with pffb ?
Any knowledge of whether this uses PFFB or not? If so, I think many will be very interested in this product. It has HDMI Arc Input, extensive Streaming Capabilities, a remote and according to WiiM will be based on the TPA3255 chip (https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/wiim-amp.1322/post-22215). If they manage to to combine this with an integrated power supply that delivers 48V output this could become the Swiss army knife for audiophile entry level setups.
And all this for 300USD (https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/wiim-amp-color.1413/post-21963).
Sounds too good to be true.
At the moment the WiiM Pro Plus Software has 4 band PEQ. That should also be available for the WiiM Amp.I wonder how much PEQ will be available on this thing?
4 band PEQ can be sufficient for basic room correction below 200 Hz in many settings.I've been looking for a way to add a hdmi arc input into my current setup, but this looks like such a neat one box solution I might just get this and repurpose my Wiim Pro, su-1 and fosi V3.
Apparently they are working on room correction as well which will make it even more of a no-brainer pick.
At the moment it seems that 2 of those 4 bands are predefined as low/high shelving filters, so you are left with only 2 peaking filters - which is still helpful, but quite limiting.4 band PEQ can be sufficient for basic room correction below 200 Hz in many settings.

However I did find a post saying more PEQ bands are planned, with per-channel configuration!
