Current setup is HDMI -> WIIM Ultra -> 2 x Fosi monoblocs. What would be cool (if it exists) is some kind of expansion box that sits after the WIIM that allows for the connection of more channels, each with their own monobloc. It would make for an easily expandable system without having to swap out the main control part. Does anyone make anything that does this job...?

What exactly do you mean? What channels should be expanded?
Or are you talking about an active crossover for speakers?

I'm not sure what your question is. You might want an HDMI audio de-embedder or extractor. The Wiim miniDSP Flex HTx might do it. After the Wiim ultra doubt possible. Higher order channel count streaming is Dolby spatial audio today.

Wiim has its own method for expansion using more wiims. But if you really want a multi channel setup without that, you have to get rid of the Wiim likely and this thread is for you if you want to remain in the digital domain. Otherwise an avr/avp is the likely path.

How would you connect it to the WiiM though? The WiiM doesn't support wired MCH output.
