This eq is with de bass mod?is different for the k712Pro?
Hi I'm not totally sure what you mean by bass mod? My K702 doesn't have any hardware mods if that what you mean, so the EQ's I use are based on stock K702's. You quoted quite an old post of mine, so I'm using a different EQ now, this time an EQ I created based on a measurement by Crinacle who uses a GRAS measurement device that is compatible with the Harman Curve, my latest EQ for the K702 can be found at the following post:
https://www.audiosciencereview.com/.../what-headphone-s-do-you-own.4285/post-701700

The K712 Pro would certainly require a different EQ than the one I provided above because the stock frequency response is different, so don't use my EQ on a K712 Pro.....my EQ at the linked post above is for the K702 you see.

Recently did some inventory and sold some to make the collection smaller and what I have left are:

Senn 650
DT 990 250
AEON RT (open)
Moondrop Starfield
OG airpods

Covers all the bases to my listening preference and then some if I needed that extra in your face punch like drinking a black Colombian brewed coffee in the A.M.

I was able to snag an excellent condition pair of Ananda for $500 + Shipping! stoked to see how they compare to my Sundara.
Love my Ananda, I've tried others, but always end up back with it. The pad shape works great for my giant head, no touching of the ear at all really, and it just has a great sound that's never sharp or offensive, but also never seems to be lacking in clarity.
I think you'll be happy, but be sure and share your thoughts.

The shape of the cups might take some getting used to depending on the shape of your head. I actually preferred the fit of the Sundara when auditioning but went for the sound of the Ananda.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on Ananda vs HE-6 SE V2.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on Ananda vs HE-6 SE V2.
I've only had the HE-6 se v2 a short time, and unfortunately Amir has had my Ananda the whole time since I've gotten it. I'll be able to give you a better comparison as soon as I get them back, I hate to go from audio memory.

For now for some preliminary subjective mumbo jumbo, my overall feeling is that the HE-6SE has a little more bass (a lot more if you eq it that way), more resolution, but also a peak around 4-5k that needs to be EQ'd otherwise it gets fatiguing quick. The HE-6se seems more in your face, and full sounding overall, but also requires a lot more power. Ananda is more comfortable and lighter and I prefer the ananda headband vs the new design on the HE-6 se v2 which gives a bit of a center hotspot. I got the HE-6se v2 at the adorama sale @ 650, so hopefully I can afford to keep both.

Wow, the equipment porn in this thread.

I've got nothing as spectacular as most everyone else, but I've been more than happy with the AKG K271Mkii headphones I've been using for everyday listening. They're comfortable, light, and I appreciate the automatic shut-off. I keep a long cable connected to each the back of my desktop other hard to reach components and disconnect at the headphones. Quite convenient.

Hi there,

for me the whole headphone topic escalated quickly during the last few months... o_O

So, from old to new in this case:

Sennheiser HD 555 (use it on my digital piano) - Plastic bomber, muffled sound but OK for the Piano.
Koss Porta Pros - Well what can you say. They are amazingly light, are comfy and sound great for their price
  • ~ 6-7 years ago
Denon AH-GC20 - My first ANCs. Never use them any more. Overly boomy bass. Should have sold them long ago.
Sony WH-1000XM2 - My second ANCs. I liked them a lot when I bought them. But they are too small for my ears and produce noise when no music plays. Randomly use them for TV. They loose so hard when comparing to anything on the bottom of this list.
  • November 2020
Sennheiser HD660S - Starting to fall into the rabbit hole. Whole different level. I`m lost... Beginning of the end
  • Januar 2021
Focal Clear - OK these will be my last set of headphone I will EVER buy... Love them. Very comfortable, very nice build. However...
  • March 2021
Hifiman Aryas - All the good intentions (see January purchase) are gone. My first planars. I love them even more, and they are my absolute favourite as of today. The sound is just amazing. I had no clue, that "stage" does make this much of a difference.
Besides my personally owned stuff I have various headphones / headsets from my company in use: Airpod Pros, XM4s, Bose QC35II...

In parallel to the HD660S I started to invest in DACs and a headphone amp too. But that's not for here, I guess.

Cheers from Germania,
Markus
