These are all modern redo's of the vintage speakers. I can vouch from first hand experience that the new JBLs sound nothing like their vintage namesakes. The new versions sound really good, at least the L100 Classic I listened to. Nothing like the original L100 from back in the day. I'm one of those grandparents that remembers them well. They were pretty bad by modern standards.
