I am really curious if the measurements will be identical
Measurements with a song will be identical to what though?

Can't be identical to the multitone measurement you see shared above?

I believe he may be talking about identical to the frequency response graph. I too was curious why the multi-tone measurement didn’t match the common FRG. I know a Fourier transform is thrown in their somewhere but, practically speaking, how are we to understand the Y-axis of a FRQ compared with the multi-tone test?

They are very different things, although I can kind of see how someone can see a relation.

Mainly with a white noise multitone test, not pink noise.

My E70V dropped dead earlier today. All I did was a factory reset exactly as instructed in the manual. The dac just went dead after the 88 flashed on the screen. Me not happy.
Apos came through for me. They sent a new E70V along with a prepaid return shipping label for my dead one. Me happy again. :)

It seems that Topping will continue to release new models of D70 Pro/A70 Pro.
Is this the successor to the discontinued D70s or another version of the E70?

Hi friend, I have Topping E70 Velvet, it works great and feels very good, but do you have Topping D70Pro and A70Pro?

Topping will always announce the launch of new products on Facebook.
Yesterday, I published photos of the D70 Pro and A70 Pro(?).
Since SABER is displayed on the panel, the DAC chip used seems to be ESS.

I think Topping's E70 Velvet is great. I want one too but haven't bought one yet.
D70Pro is only a photograph and the details are completely unknown. But the release is near.

Until now, I felt that Chinese products were very cheap, but due to the Japanese government's terrible exchange policy, the price has increased by nearly 40% compared to before.
As with the E70/E70V, I don't think Topping will release a model with MQA in the future.

Doesn't support the DSD direct mode that makes AKM chips interesting.
I think thats really a oversight..along with the strange DSD cutoff frequencies for DSD64 and DSD128.

I mean what good are the newest top of the line chips if you are not going to implement all the features?

Doesn't the E70V automatically switch to direct mode when switching to DAC mode like the E30 ll?

Unfortunately on DSD mode there is no filter, there is only a direct filter.
in PCM there are 6 filters I think, now I don't remember very well.
However it sounds great in both PCM and DSD.
And above all it works well.

And If you play DSD64 without upsampling (so every SACD) the cut-off frequency is 19khz. That's that one filter in DAC mode for DSD.

If you want to increase that you need to upsample to higher DSD Rates.

normally the 4499EX supports Pcm1536, DSD1024, DSD direct mode and has 2 DSD filters (narrow and wide) but topping didn't bother to implement those things.
(and there won't be a update either.)
