Subwoofer / Dual Subwoofer upgrade

Hi,

My current setup:
Tidal> Laptop> S.M.S.L M300 MKII> Edifier R2800 powered speakers.

Thinking how to add sub or two subs to the system.
If one powered sub. Just need connect dac to sub and sub to speakers. Correct?
Thinking of JBL 310s and maybe upgrade to JBL 308P MKII speakers.

If two JBL 310s. What best options here?

Correct. See owner's manual, page 16.

With the R2800, you would require two single XLR to RCA (Cinch) adapter cables, though. I would advise you to keep things simple: one JBL LSR310S, properly set-up, would certainly suffice.
