My subwoofer's got a couple of Sica drivers in it (apropos of nothing).
I know next to nothing about Sica other than that it's (apparently) an Italian company.

was my first thought too, avtually...except, the baffle edges in the first looked way too shiny, just like a polished resin cast

Good question and I think it's clear that depends on whether there is a cat on your amp or not...

Just joking of course, would be interesting to see these tested on the Klippel actually... even though the styling is not for me.

Where are they made? If China, they'll be quite cheap ex-works I suspect. If made 'in the west,' they'll sell for thousands..

(I just remember tales of a time before the 2008 crash where a UK £320 5 star best buy speaker with shiny gloss wood finish seemingly entered the UK boxed and ready to ship out for $14 the pair!) My source is trusted and the dealer margin was around 40% plus maybe a little more if the account was settled quickly.)
