Show us your Cars

sorry for the google translation. I built it myself. I put it together from 27 different cars. the body is fiberglass. 2-seater, 1.6ccm, garret turbo, 220HP, 550kg, rear wheel drive, 5-speed gearbox, locking differential, also has a canvas roof.
Weight?

Here is my 4,699 pounder. She may be a tad bit over weight, but she's pretty in late afternoon fall light.

550 KG = 1,212.542 Pounds.
There, both of the main systems in use (Sorry, I did not try for conversion to STONES).
220 HP puts the power to weight ratio solidly into the "FUN" category!
If the weight guess is accurate, that’s a bit better than my Hellcat. Definitely fun.

I did not realize that those were that hefty! Definitely a beautiful picture of it.
One of my former vehicles (a hurricane felled a very large oak tree onto it in Sept. of 1989) had a bit more heft and a fair amount of power (handling was NOT it's forte' [but passengers could consume alcohol due to the driver's compartment being divided from the by a solid glass panel from the rest of the vehicle]). It did have a decent amount of acceleration after you got it passed 25-30 MPH, as it had a fair amount of power with (279 kw) 375 HP at 4400 RPM & (712 Nm) 525 ft-lb torque at 3000 RPM:

Mine was a very dark green, it looked black from 20 feet (around 6 & 2/3 meters) away.

From the side when that hideous current front grill is hidden. :p
I initially felt that way about the grille, but it has grown on me.

My two criticisms of the car are its weight and the fact that it has a small car interior stuck in a rather large body. In general I prefer smaller lighter cars, but the engineers at BMW have dialed in the suspension and the power curve to make the car remarkably fun to drive. Last summer I took it out for a very enjoyable 5,100 mile road trip. I can't think of too many other cars I'd want to do that in.

I have driven and seen many a BMW recently, and I find the big grill the prettiest and most definitive of the bunch. The rest look a bit dull.
So different tastes can be :)
I really wish I would like BMWs current design which also replaced lovely classic round gauges with some warp speed Star Trek polygons as their cars are still well engineered and am not alone, on the other hand as it shows some other people like it now which didn't in the past.

I agree 100% on the gauges... since it is simply a screen, the least they could do is offer options, a classic look as well as the already dated "futuristic" look.

I think car companies just aren't that cool, to do something fun like that. They'd definitely not allow people to do anything custom.

My 2022 Golf R had 5 or so different gauge cluster styles... traditional to radical. They got that part right, but screwed the pooch on their touch panel and haptic controls.

They used to be. Back in the 60's & 70's you could go into your local GM, Ford, or Mopar dealer and order the very base (inexpensive) trim model, but
check the boxes for the biggest, baddest engine and driveline package they had. At the same time you could check the "radio & heater delete' boxes to
save yet again just a little weight and money, really serious cars.. They truly understood us gear-heads!

The i4 has various choices of HUD. The gauges change when I switch to sport and eco modes. I honestly don't pay much attention, though. I like the Golf R. I almost got one in 2013 but went for the FRS instead.

Porsche does that, sorta, with the T models. Subaru does that sorta with the TR model, but they charge more than they should. F

Can you do something as simple as order one minus air-conditioning which is a totally unnecessary, performance stealing accessory?
You could in the 2023 COPO Camero with the 10.35 liter, 632 cid engine. Now thats a serious factory muscle car.
