Sabaj A20h Balanced Headphone Amplifier Owner's Thread

All advice welcome. Maybe balanced input would be better; I've ordered some XLR interconnects, but from Ali Express so they will take a couple of weeks.
Yes you seem to have a grounding issue, XLR interconnects will hopefully eliminate it completely.

Thanks Veri. Rather than take a chance on waiting for the XLRs, I returned the A20H to Amazon this morning. I've never had any hifi grounding issues anywhere in the house and the new amp was sharing a power strip with a DAC and streamer, both working silently for a long time. It's a pity, because I liked the sound.

Bit of a pity. A20h is still my main amp :p it does all I expect of it and more, and at a great/unbeatable price.
I do use XLR inputs though..

I bought two SABAJ A20H for 90 euros each that i use with dongle DACS (Colorfly CDA M1P or Shanling UA4 / in 3.5=>RCA or 4.4=>XLR) and i'm very happy with them for listening my IEMs. I wonder if the SMSL D0400 will be an improvement ?

Returned my Sabaj A20h and got another one.
SN (old): 5160010100***
SN (new): 5390010200***

I hope this will fix my weird issues...

In case you missed it, Amir’s review is now posted. Shouldn’t come a surprise to anyone who owns the amp but good to put numbers to the subjective experience. In some ways it is a pity the amp wasn’t more popular. The newer versions appear to have better aesthetics but not really better sound/features.

Hi, I have a problem with the remote controller, i tried 2 different sets of batteries, press de b button and nothing happens cant control It... Am i missing something?

Pressing the B button should be enough to activate the remote control.
Please check with your phone camera whether the remote control is sending a signal.

Everything working a 3rd pack of batteries did the trick, awesome unit!

I came up with the idea of possibly using three A20hs in parallel as a balanced 6-channel volume control and I wonder if a simple parallel operation of several A20hs might work in the sense that a single remote control can control all devices without volume deviations ...

Btw.: Are there any photos of the inside?

Hi everyone, I found that using a grounded power adapter can eliminate the hum noise from the device.

Do you have a link to the power supply you bought?

You can try this product by MEAN WELL
Tried to search one from that brand, couldn't find a suitable powers supply. Sadly you didn't post a link, was this intended?
Just in case anyone else reads this, here's the original power supply, 15V 4A DC, center positive.

EDIT: Maybe I found it? GST60A15-P1J
Could anyone who can read and understand this datasheet say something about this psu?

As @bilifen said, a power supply with a 3-pin connector that you can use and is readily available is the Mean Well GST60A15 for around €/$16-20 plus shipping.
BUT, this is only available as the GST60A15-P1J with a 5.5/2.1mm connector.
For the Sabaj A10h and A20h, you need a 5.5/2.5mm connector, so you'll need an adapter (Ali or Amazon, preferably with a short cable), or you'll have to solder on a new 5.5/2.5mm connector.

The product numbers for the 5.5/2.5mm power supply are GST60A15-P1L or -P2L, but they're very difficult to find, or even impossible to find.
