What are the pros and cons of using a single dac versus a balanced design. Considering it is feeding into balanced topology to a balanced headphone with my benchmark hpa4... It's the only thing in my chain that is not balanced. Is this fine? I considered implementation to be more important. But that was before I started using balanced topology.

Rme ADI 2 into HPA4, non balanced to balanced?
What do you mean, the ADI-2 is "not balanced"? 
It's got XLR outputs on the back, the HPA4 has balanced inputs, how much more balanced do you want?
