The Château d'Arques - see above - is a ruined Cathar Castel built in the 14th-century in the commune of Arques in the "Aude department" of France. The construction was paid by "Gilles de Voisins"...
Not too far from where I live.... I've been there.
There is a beautiful castle in the village where I live... It looks like the castle of Cinderella.

This is the village where I live in South of France by the Mediterranean Sea.
There is a very old castle (see image) at 1 mn walk from my house. The village is surrounded by vineyards.

I guess I am gradually understanding why France is the most-visited country (at least in Europe). A number of you post incredible images of France.

1. France - 90 millions visitors : the most visited country on Earth.
2. Spain - 50 millions
5. USA : 45 millions
there is no border between France and Spain.
8. Croatia is a small beautiful country.

By number of international visitors, France is the #1 destination in the World indeed. And it does makes sense, there are a lot of different parts of the country that is worth seeing. In fact, all the countries in the list makes sense, maybe except Austria if you ask me

By tourism revenue, US is number one and France is number 4 after Spain and the UK.
Which is more interesting, because if you do the math, which I did, you find that average spending per person is ca $686 when visiting France, which is less than all the other top 5 countries in the list. For reference, average spending per person for people visiting United Arab Emirates is $3108.

The last vehicle is beautiful.
I've seen golfing greens with worse grass. Better than a baseball infield.
