My folks have a three legged doe that likes to frequent their back yard. Every year without fail she shows up with a new fawn. Our working theory is she can't get away from the buck.

Thanks... I have no family but my wife and my daughter who is living in Toulouse 200km from where I live.
I have no brother no sister. Just 2 cousins but I never see them they live at 350km...

Which (or what kind of) lens did you use? The far background "bokeh" (blur) pattern is somewhat unfamiliar to me, at least.

The lens used is a 70-300 mm ED glass VR Nikkor (gift from my son, the serious photographer in the family), of which I am quite fond.
I think the effect was the unintended byproduct of shooting through a window screen :facepalm:, perhaps coupled with some unusual quality of the early summer light (bright but slightly hazy afternoon sunshine)
