Hello everyone,

my dad wanted bluetooth headphones for the TV but the satellite receiver we use doesn't allow bluetooth headphones to be connected, so i was thinking of buying a bluetooth audio transmitter (the Sennheiser BT T100, tell me if it's fine) but to do that i need an optical audio splitter and i don't know which one would be good. i've come across the brand LiNKFOR which seems to have many models but i can't tell if they are good or not, could you help me please?

P.S. could you also recommend me a bluetooth receiver to make the headphones wireless?

Thank you

What would your complete setup look like? I think you could get away with a single bluetooth transmitter + 2 receivers so you wouldn't need an optical splitter which might not be the best/cheapest option.

I am using a passive toslink splitter like this one. For me the simplest and cheapest solution.

The advantage is that it does not need a power cable/supply. And it works without flaw so far.

I have the satellite receiver connected to the TV and a soundbar, the satellite receiver only has an optical output for audio so I need to be able to use either Bluetooth or the soundbar for audio, that's why I'm looking for a splitter. I don't want a switch simply because it would add complexity for my father when he wants to switch between the two options.
The headphones are the Sennheiser 599SE.
